Going nude-Get your shades ready!

A makeup that does not seem like makeup?
The wish every girl would want to be granted! The nude makeup fad is on a constant rise with everyone going bananas over coming up with their own version of this light, unsuspectful makeup look.So it becomes only more essential to stock up your vanity with the correct eyeshadows, glosses and tints.Below is a small glimpse of nudes I possess which I use on a daily basis. The eyeshadows are matte and the lip gloss looks just as natural.I dont really prefer wearing a blush or a bronzer on everyday basis so I decided to skip it in this post.
The picture above includes: Sivanna Naked eyeshadow pallete,Chambor glitzy gloss in the shade 'CRYSTAL 805' and lakme face magic souffle in the shade 'NATURAL PEARL'.
So girls, spare no time and hit the stores!

Smoked Cateyes and Peach Lips

Sultry black eyeshadow with a tinge of silver to add up to the seductive quotient,a smoked cateye is an ultimate preference for all!

A party at night or a date with your crush, this never fails to make your eyes do the talking for you and who knows, maybe flirt as well?

Now smokey eyes can be a bit tricky owing to the layering and blending of eyeshadows with the right colours but most of us neither have the time nor the professional artistic hands to make it come out perfect so here is an easy way out.All you need is a black and silver eyeshadow alongwith a kohl(kaajal) that willingly smudges without any hassles and a good mascara.
Step 1:To begin with, take a pointed eyeliner brush.Dab it in black eyeshadow and make a horizontal V-outline on the outer edge of your eyes.
If you are not comfortable with the brush, opt for the kohl but make sure it has a pointed tip.
After drawing the outline, make an arch midway through your eyelids. Also apply the kohl on your waterline.
Step 2:Now all you got to do is fill your lower part of the eyelid with black eyeshadow.Completely intense black.
And after having swatched the black, just dab some silver eyeshadow onto the inner corner of your eyes to make them look brighter.
Also, using the same black eyeshadow, work your way on the lower lash line as well and the result would resemble to mine.
Apply 2 coats of mascara and you are good to go.
The products I have used are:
1.Lakme Kajal

2.Nicka K Newyork eyeshadow Palette (black and silver shade)

3.Maybelline Hyper Curl Volume Express Mascara
4.And and and.Of course. For the lips. There is a little trick here.Instead of going for a matte peach lipstick,I have used a light pink shade and an orange blush.
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede-Shade 08(Pink Bloom)
Biotique wellness blush-Shade "Sage"
All you got to do is apply the lipstick in a regular manner and then, dab the blush onto the lipstick. This will give it a more matte and pigmented appearance than an actual matte lipstick.

Well,hopefully a good job done. :D

Mehendi or what many refer to as Henna is symbolic of tradition in the Indian Culture. The intricately designed patterns on hand look beautiful.Mostly it is worn on special ocassions such as marriages and festivals. And with the Diwali just a day ahead,I couldn't miss out on my chance to get this on my hand.
I love my hands with this beautifully applied mehendi!Just waiting now to see how dark its colour would be,once it dries off!

Golden dwellings

What's better than to indulge in something golden.Something shimmery!
Here is my little collection of the golden I possess which comprises of bangles and lots of them, earrings, eyeshadow and the nail paint ofcourse!

Festive Time!

Namaste! The festive season is here and so are the worries of doing something different with your looks!Well well well…

Why not hook on to the age old golden-red?Red makes every girl beautiful in her own way.And golden umm…no shimmer ever harmed! And so I decided to stick to my traditional colours and adorn myself with golden-red eyemakeup alongwith those scintillating red lips ofcourse. And yes of course,a teeny weeny winged liner!

The eyeshadows I have used are from Revlon. To achieve a similar result, first of all spread out the golden eyeshadow all over your eyelids as well as on the inner corner of your eyes. And then apply the red or maroon or dark pink, which your shade, starting from the outer end of your eye, working your way to the middle!
And of course, don’t forget the savior-Eyeliner!Coat your lashes with mascara and you are good to go.

Wear this look with a red or golden ethnic wear.Add up some accesories if you want.I wore a red kurta with a light golden work and paired it up with golden bangles.
